## Questions

### Is Shopify down right now?

No. As of 16:48 UTC on 25 Oct 2026, Shopify's official status page reports all 9 components operational.

### Where is Shopify's official status page?

At www.shopifystatus.com. Shoptest reads it every 30 minutes and keeps the history shown on this page.

### Is it Shopify, or is it my store?

If this page shows Shopify as operational but your store still has problems, the cause is more likely a theme change, another app or your store's settings. Shoptest's checkout tests and error monitoring are built to find that.

### How do I get alerted when Shopify goes down?

Install Shoptest from the Shopify App Store. It tracks Shopify's status for your store and alerts you by email or Slack the moment Shopify reports a problem, and again when it recovers.

## Get alerted

Shoptest watches Shopify and the other apps a Shopify store runs on, alerts by email or Slack the moment one reports a problem, and tests the store's checkout around the clock.
